Columbus man arrested for allegedly receiving, distributing child sexual abuse material

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A Columbus man was arrested Thursday for allegedly receiving and distributing sexual abuse material involving a minor.

The Columbus Division of Police and the Franklin County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested 50-year-old Jeremy Cordial, who is charged with two counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor.

Police said a search warrant was executed at Cordial’s home where investigators found a large amount of illegal digital evidence, including images and videos, of child sexual abuse materials.

Cordial was booked into Franklin County jail. He faces additional charges pending further investigation.
