Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have lots of love for their daughter Princess Lilibet on her golden birthday.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s daughter Lilibet turned 4 on June 4, and Meghan celebrated the day on Instagram with new pictures of
“The sweetest bond to watch unfold 💕 Daddy’s little girl and favorite adventurer,” the Duchess of Sussex, 43, wrote below the two-part carousel. “Happy birthday Lili!”
The montage opened with a previously unseen shot of Prince Harry, 40, holding Princess Lilibet when she was a baby. The Duke of Sussex looked intently at his daughter, while the baby gazed back at him.
The second shot, captured from behind, shows Harry and Lilibet walking hand in hand along a beach trail. The dad and daughter walked barefoot on a sandy path surrounded by palm trees, seemingly in their home state of California.
The intimate image captured their tight bond, and showed Lilibet’s red hair that she inherited from her dad Harry.
Princess Lilibet was born in California on June 4, 2021, and her arrival made Harry and Meghan a family of four, as the couple were already parents to son Prince Archie, now 6.
The Duchess of Sussex’s montage starring Lilibet and Harry was the second tribute she posted on June 4 to celebrate her daughter’s special day.
Early on Wednesday morning, Meghan shared two black and white pictures of her and Lili with a shout out to her darling daughter.
“Happy birthday to our beautiful girl! Four years ago today she came into our lives – and each day is brighter and better because of it. Thanks to all of those sending love and celebrating her special day!” the As ever founder wrote below those photos.
The first picture showed Lilibet snuggled up on Meghan’s lap as they rode a boat in the ocean, followed by an undated throwback of a newborn Lili snuggled with Meghan in bed.
